We LOVE this place. Great service, every single time. They are always quick and friendly. We're from Ca, the land of great, authentic Mexican Food, and this place is one of our favorites. The food is always on point. I always recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat! In fact, we are on our way there now. You can never go wrong with the Carne Asada fries.

I love this place. The food is great and the service is outstanding. The food comes out quick, the staff is friendly, and it seems like they have it all together. I've been here about a million times, and the only issue I've ever had was that they forgot to give me my drink during the lunch rush, but as soon as my food was ready, I asked for it and they got it for me right away without a fuss. We love to have their carne asada fries as a treat. It's a big serving that can feed a few people. Comes with fries covered in fresh-tasting guacamole, sour cream, well-seasoned meat (not too salty), and pico de gallo. I've also tried their chile rellenos plate and the chile verde plate... everything is SO good! I really like this place because you can see the kitchen from the lobby, and you can see that they're preparing everything fresh. Also love their fried jalapenos, their tortillas, and just about every salsa they have at the bar.

I have been here a couple times and had his experiences. The horchata is delicious; it can be very sweet but tasty. I prefer the breakfast burritos, which are pretty big and filing. They have a wide array of sauces that are self serve. Theyalsohavea great candy selection. The cashiers are kind and patient as well. I hate having to get the key to go to the bathroom but I'm guessing they have had issues in the past, and with the design of the building it may be necessary. The only problem I had was I asked for a bacon and potato burrito and I was rang up for a potato burrito and didn't get my baconml. Not a big deal so I ate it, but just be sure to speak up when ordering so as not to get disappointed.

El Super Taco is El Super Awesome. This is real Mexican food!! From the grilled jalapeños at the register, the Aguas, to the salsa bar it reminded me of the restaurants in the border town I grew up in. They are very generous with their portions, well priced and very quick. I wish this restaurant was closer to our home in Northern Colorado. I will be going there every time I eat in CoSp.

Three words: carne asada fries. Best option on the menu. For breakfast their chorizo buritto is bomb (served all day long too) For some reason I really enjoy their bean burrito but not their beans by themselves, though it's prob just preference. But seriously, my wife doesn't even like french fries but she'll down half a box of the carne asada fries herself.

All I can say is BAM! ! Delicious Chile relleno plate. Soo good. Was not expecting that when we pulled up. Thought it would be ok but it was great. Also swooped two carnitas and two adobado tacos. The guac was tasty and an interesting addition. Would def order more carnitas. My gf got the beef burrito and cheese enchilada which she said was good but her eyes opened wide when she had a bite of my relleno. Plus the guys working there were nice and professional. Kitchen looked clean. Win win win.

This food was decent. They sure do give you. A lot of it! I hade the carne asada and I enjoyed it. I love the fact that they have a drive threw it was very convenient so I didn't have to get out and the price isn't to bad for the amount of food you get. We went through the drive threw and the food was ready pretty quickly I would go back again of im in the mood for some Mexican.

My FAVORITE fast food Mexican! Burritos are great! The Carnitas are to die for! All meat no fat or gristle!

Service was friendly and fast, and very tasty food here! I had the cheese enchilada combo, which came with rice and beans. I love the roasted red peppers and fried jalapenos available at the counter.

  • James H.

Great food at a reasonable price. The chili verde is my favorite, but no matter what you order you will love it. Fresh hot sauce is great, and I adore the grilled jalapenos available at the counter or in the drive through by request. Not my favorite breakfast burrito place but, lunch here is outstanding.

Food review: Being from Southern Calofornia, this is the best taco shop I've found in Colorado Springs. Their burritos are a decent size, their fish tacos are amazing, and their salsa bar is legit. Their rice and beans are just OK but still good. If you are looking for that little corner taco shop with carne fries, burritos, etc., this is the place!!! Service review: The staff are always very friendly. It's usually busy but the food is ready in a decent amount of time. Tips: Military discount

I've spent the last two months in COS, and I've been on a quest to find the best Mexican food. This is my last week in COS, and I'm ready to award the crown to El Super Taco. The food is outstanding. As other reviewers have said, anything with the carne asada is going to be amazing. The #11 Plate is my favorite. It comes with rice, beans, lettuce, guac, and two enormous tortillas. Each tortilla could easily double as a blanket for a niño pequeño. I can barely eat a full tortilla with my meal. Mad props to anyone who can down two of those blankets of Mexican goodness. The salsa bar is good, but it's not the strongest point of El Super Taco. The salsa verde is definitely the best, and I ladle it over my rice before leaving the counter. The mild salsa and hot salsa are respectable, but I wouldn't say they're up to par with the other food. Pro tip: when ordering your food, look down to your left on the counter. You will see a paper plate piled with fried jalapenos. Looks pretty sketch, right? Like what's going on there? Why is that a paper plate? Which freak ordered two dozen fried peppers? Those were my questions, too. But fear not. Those little delicacies are FREE and calling your name. Answer by picking one up on your way to the salsa bar. El Super Taco, congratulations, you have won me over this summer. I will miss you. Stay spicy, mi amigo.

We went here on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. We have tried the enchiladas, tamales, chorizo plate, chilli rellano, carne asada tacos, carne asada fries, and the tostada and taco plate. Everything was delicious! We loved the salsa bar and warm chips as well. Great place to go when craving homemade Mexican good for a Great price.

Came here on Monday morning. It was 17.71 for two bacon burritos, 2 lg cokes and chips with guac and cheese. So decent pricing. My husband ate here before and said the carne asada tacos are delish, so we wanted to try breakfast. Twas nummy, but nothing to write home about.

Great Mexican food, done the right way: quality ingredients, reasonable prices and authentic tastes. Had the Menudo soup on Saturday (only served on the weekends). Sometimes served Sunday mornings to help cope with a hangover, Menudo has a Rich hearty broth with just the right amount of spices. You can google the star ingredient of Menudo but it's a great way to start your day. I was a little surprised that the soup did not have any posole (white hominy) in it which i believe adds a lot of flavor. Again, great spot for Mexican food. Taste: A+ Price: A Decor: C (it's really a dive) Service: order and pick up from counter.

Awesome Mexican food. Service is great. Good variety of food selection. Food was tasty and tasted fresh and therefore yummy.

Amazing food, fast service. Best Mexican grub I've had since my business trips to Mexico City.

  • Aaron T.

Ok, my rating just keeps going up. Tonight they seemed surprised when I asked for the machaca plate on fries. They did it! It was just amazing and it felt like 2 pounds of food. I think I would love any of their stuff on french fries. All that sour cream and cheese and eggs with large chunks of some kind of stewed beef. I couldn't eat all of it. Thanks again, El Super Taco.

  • Jeff C.

Don't let the unassuming decor and location fool you. This is a pretty authentic Mexican restaurant. Prices are decent and the food is good. They have a decent selection of tacos, enchiladas, etc... Their guacamole didn't seem the freshest, was bright green but the consistency was off for me, but that's just personal taste. I had a fish taco and 3 rolled fried tacos. I was super full and to wash it down a large drink (cups were huge).

    (4)
  • David P.

Not exactly inexpensive for a taco shop, but delicious and the portions are immense! Excellent salsas available to spice up your meal selection if you choose. Fast and friendly service. They have a wonderful following in the community and recognize their regular customers. I tend to grade every Mexican restaurant by the quality of their carnitas, and the plate I had didn't disappoint. Well done El Super Taco! Now about that sign on the south side of the dining area... it's spelled Tasty.

  • Maria B.

Carne asada, arroz con frijoles! Yes, please. The menu is huge - but, you can tailor your meal as you wish (even if your exact choices are not shown on the board) just talk to the person at the register. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food was so delicious - it made my trip don to Colorado Springs. They should open a location in Denver.

  • Ted S.

I've ordered from El Super Taco twice in the last two days. Food quality is great, but inconsistencies and mistakes keep the overall rating at four instead of five stars. I ordered the #11 (carne asada plate) twice and the first time there was no guacamole, but the second time there was. I also ordered two carnitas mini tacos and found that once I got back to my hotel they were actually carne asada, not carnitas. While I was waiting for my order there were at least three people who came up to the counter complaining about mistakes on there orders.

The most like 'home' Mexican food! We are from San Diego, so we know a thing or two about good Mexi ;) Delicious quesadillas, chorizo, carne asada, guacamole, beans and more! Om nom nom! Military Discount too!

  • Jessica H.

I was very impressed!!! I visited this place while on a trip with my job, I decided to stop there because of all the good reviews I seen. Remind u I'm a pretty big Mexican Cuisine critic being I'm from El Paso. I ordered a Carne Asada plate and while waiting on my food I had told the employee I had never tried it and he assured me "You will not be disappointed!" And long story short I was not it was amazing, the tortillas where huge (12"), and u have to try their green chili!

This is my go to place for quick Mexican food. I'm a California native, and it's the closest thing to taco shops I have found in the area. Prices are fair, I usually order one of the "Mini specials", they're great deals with generous portions. Pros: -Food is usually good, it tastes home cooked and not fast foodish. -The beans, yum... add cheese, oh gawd... -Carne asada fries are amazing, every time. -Generous portions -They're nice and friendly, never bad customer service. -One guy always calls my husband "Boss", and that's just nice. Cons: -Drive through takes a while, I've seen people just drive away because the wait can be so long. Not a complete deal breaker, as they cook fresh so it will take a while. -Seafood isn't the greatest, I'd skip it if you're wanting some shrimp or fish. -This is partially my fault, but there's one guy that works there that ALWAYS forgets drinks when they come with the order. Every-single-time. I usually notice as I pull into my driveway and have the immediate sense of anger that I forgot, with the regret that I won't be enjoying horchata with my meal.

    (4)
  • John B.

If you're looking for the best mini tacos, best beans, best salsa, with the best price for what you get then this is place. All the other taco joints don't compare. Reminds me of California tacos.

  • Brinetta H.

Born and raised in Cali eating very good Mexican food I had the hardest time finding anything remotely close to what I ate there until I found El Super Taco on Yelp. Following my prego cravings I demanded this when my husband was on his way home. I got the carne asada plate w/a huge tortilla and he got the carne asada fries. Both were so good!! I'd recommend both. Visit this place you won't regret it. Oh and their red and green sauce is frickin delicious! Definitely my go-to place from now on.

  • Andrew G.

This place is epic!! Amazing carne asada; the carne asada fries are the best I've had anywhere and I grew up in San Diego minutes away from the boarder. They need to open up a location in Denver as well!!! While there is more competition up there, they are by far the best. I eat here as often as I can!

  • Heeyeun J.

Visited last night while debating for 2 hours on where to eat dinner. Looked very busy inside so decided that going through the drive-thru would be a good idea. Got the fish taco combination plate and carne asada plate. Both were delicious! I am originally from California so I am a little biased on my opinions of Mexican, but this place hit the spot! The rice was flavorful and the horchata to die for. Love at first bite at amazing prices. Will be back for the carne asada fries...............like today.

The food we received was not even close to editable. None of or 6 orders came out correct. Avoid this place at all costs.

  • Bethany G.

I love 'EST' as we call it at work. Some of the fastest, cheapest Mexican food in the springs. I can honestly say it's in my top two favorite places for enchiladas, and this one has better service and prices than the other.

    (5)
  • Jessica R.

Perfect little drive-thru Mexican place; their chicken Chimichanga Combo is awesome!

    (5)
  • Heather G.

I love this place for their nachos! Last time I went I asked for no beans and instead of beans they gave me BACON!!! The nachos are huge and I always have left overs. I don't think I've ever ordered anything else from here. So if you love nachos, this is the place to go. I'd ask for more chips though, because their is always more toppings than chips!

  • Grace P.

I WAS going to take a pic of the food but it got devoured before I could do so. The catfish tacos were so damn good. Obviously home battered, not frozen van kampps or something. We also grabbed a bacon breakfast burrito. Thick cut bacon chunks and no shortage of it either. Horchata was not powdery, a first for me. The guys are super chill. There was a 7 car wait at the drive through, it was around 6 when we went. Well worth the wait. I'm not a Mexican food person in the sense that I never really crave it but I'm hooked. Our only complaint is that this specific one isn't closer to our part of town. **there are other locations but this one has set themselves apart for sure.

Super Taco is a great Mexican Restaurant for families, friends, and even individuals. Breakfast Burritos before work has never let me down, I would definitely recommend any breakfast burrito although my personal favorite is the Bacon Burrito. Workers there are very professional and flexible with your order if you choose to customize the order. Sometimes I have to wait for a while and I may not like the wait time but as I realize my food is fresh unlike McDonald's, it is definitely worth it. Portions are great with a great price and the salsa bar is always available for those who want any salsa or even fried jalapeños, which are free!! I highly recommend this great place when you're feeling like having Mexican food. 5 star

  • Dani K.

Oh man I count down the days until I eat this again. I dream about what I will get next. Hopefully everything is as good as the fish tacos and beef tacos! The beef taco had an "in house" fried taco shell with just the right crunch to it. Amazing! I want each kind of the tacos next time. I want them....right....NOW!!!!! Mmmmm

  • Whit J.

Quesadillas are gross. Everything else is fantastic. Love their breakfast burritos. Everything is always made fresh, so fresh it burns your tongue! Yummy! This place could use some updating, I think the building is an old taco bell or similar, if they wanted they could have a really nice establishment here. For now at least it's my favorite local dive.

A visitor from CA pulls in to El Super Taco on a recent Sunday. He orders the chile verde plate for himself, and 5 rolled tacos for his wife. It all tastes pretty good. This type of restaurant can be found on virtually every other block in major metro areas of CA, so the taste and portions are very familiar to the visitor. That night and the next day, the wife is waylaid with gastrointestinal distress the likes of which he's never seen. Could it possibly be the flu? Sure, especially since said visitor feels... uh... generally okay, aside from a mild quesiness he attributes from watching (and smelling - 0MG) his wife hurl chunks from both ends of her body. So the next day, in need of a quick dinner, he returns for a BRC (beans, rice, cheese) burrito. MISTAKE, VISITOR! He spends two days suffering the same GI fate as his unfortunate spouse. Let it suffice to say that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. The visitor has learned his lesson.

This is one if my favorite go-to restaurants in the springs for everyday fare. I've never had anything that I didn't like here. Here are some tips to get the most out of your experience: 1) carne asada anything is delicious, and always served with guacamole and pico de gallo. 2) soda is expensive if purchased separately. 3) 10% mitary discount 4) the fiesta plate - grilled chicken, Steak, and shrimp, and a fave of the employees! 5) rice and beans are nothing special, but authentic. 6) tacos are good-sized. My standard lunch order is 1x carne asada taco and 1x fish taco.

  • Dae Lynn G.

Wow this was a uncanny find today. I had the supreme quesadilla and it was amazing. It was real steak and real cheese. It did take a while longer but it was authentic Mexican tasting with the fast food benefit. The price was good too for what you get it is quite the bang. I think I found a new favorite.

    (5)
  • John J.

This place ROCkS!!! Best breakfast burritos in town. Great lunch too. Just close your eyes and point at the menu. Friendly staff that make you feel welcome. I've been trying to get a tshirt from them for years. I want this place to never close. The kicker is that it's in an old Taco Bell. Take that you corporate scum!!! Eat here, lock your car door, and enjoy.

  • Michael S.

Great fast food Mexican. An easy go to that gets close to some of my faves back in Arizona. Carnitas are a must and carne asada fries are the best late night snack food ever!

  • Abraham A.

Came in here for lunch with my girlfriend to have some Mexican food! If you guys have driven past this place I already know what y'all are thinking "what a shady place" or "this must be another Taco Bell knock off" well my friends, if those are your thoughts, you just as wrong as I was before ever coming here. I had ordered the number 11 plate which is the carne asada. It comes with sides if rice and beans, pico de gallo, guac, and a side of flour tortillas. Now if you know anything about tortillas, in my opinion those are the best kind. Let me also say that they were HUGE tortillas too, more then enough. Everything, but I mean EVERYTHING, was delicious! AND at an affordable price!? It does not get better then this. They offer military discounts as well. We can at a time which was super busy but they had our order and food in a jiffy. I was really impressed with that. The store also has a drive thru, and they offer catering services as well.

Never had a complaint. Best carne asada fries, rolled tacos and breakfast burritos w/ military discount. Husband and I love it here. Best prices!!

This place always delivers, the food is consistently excellent. My go-to for Mexican food, and they are open late!

  • Marissa G.

Can you say "Yummy!" or "I'll be back." Okay, so we stop based on yelp reviews.. and I have to say I was not disappointed! The prices were a little high, but the food was worth it. The carne asada was delicious and they gave me so much that I didn't even finish. The cheese enchiladas were also great and the enchilada sauce was also good. the rice and beans were spot on! The tortillas were a little thin and plastic'y, but I ate them all (they are super tortillas). We are from South Texas and we like Tex-Mex... so this place was as close as it gets. My husband compared it to Taco Cabana (if you are familiar).. so we will be back! No Doubt!.

This place has the most authentic tasting Mexican food in Colorado Springs. The staff is always so quick to give great customer service! The cooks are so sanitary and skilled! You truly get the best bang for your buck. Their quick service drive thru is convenient if you are going to work. Their breakfast burritos melt in your mouth. They offer a salsa bar as well! Great vibes when I walk in! Highly recommended!

  • Leo R.

Went down to Colorado Springs on a whim to meet up with a friend. I was craving some good Mexican food bu he told me he has discussions with his friends how there is no good places in the area. A quick search on yelp lead us here. We wanted authentic and boy did we get it! The food was all really fresh, didn't give me a greasy-gross feeling after eating it. The price was right and the portions were huge. Most, if not all of the food has to be home made. I ordered a chicken taco and a burrito which wasn't a combo plate but they told me they could make it one for me! Both items were delicious. The building, surrounded by a drive through isn't overly impressive but the staff is nice and the food is great, what more could you ask for? Great find!

    (5)
  • Tara W.

We have only visited for breakfast so I can not comment on the rest but the breakfast burritos are great. I wish the salsas were labeled to help out those of that are not as familiar with just the look. The restaurant is always clean and in good condition.

    (4)
  • Bryant J.

The food here is amazing! If it wasn't across town I'd be here a few times a week. Takes some time to get your food, but that is because they're usually busy. And it's worth the wait. Convenience of a drive thru or their clean dine in area. Have NOT tried anything I didn't like and what I love the most is their open condiments "bar" get a variety of salsas and as much as you please. Probably the best Mexican spot in the springs.

    (5)
  • JD H.

I've only had lunch here, but it has always been wonderful. I am now addicted to the #17 chile verde plate. Comes with tortillas the size of a small blanket. Get a roasted jalapeno at the counter. The only problem I have is the salsa is a bit on the weak side, but still has a nice flavor. 4 stars easy.

    (4)
  • Vincent R.

Best Mexican food in the springs!!!!! They have a great menu and great service everything is cooked to order so it's very fresh and they have menudo on Saturday and Sunday mornings

Carne asada fries are the best! Great friendly service and prices are fair! Viva el Super Taco!!

  • Missy B.

Another fast food Mexican restaurant that looks super sketchy but tastes super incredible! This place can't be good for you by any means, but it is the perfect drunk food... Hangover food... Whenever food! I love the number two meal which consists of a shredded beef taco and a bean tostada. And, interestingly enough, I also enjoy the number two breakfast burrito. It has egg, bacon, cheese and potatoes.... I am salivating just typing that! They sell the breakfast burritos all day, so no rush waking up early for the sake of a good breakfast! The service is ok, sometimes the girls at the drive in window are a little grouchy, but they rarely mess up an order- no matter how customized. Also, do yourself a favor and get extra salsa. I like the green one best, but the red is pretty good too!

Living out of a hotel waiting for our house to open up and wanted some FRESH food for dinner. Picked this place b/c of the ratings and the reviews. My family is always tentative about picking places based on Yelp but I've been 5 for 5 on our cross country trip. We ordered two #1's, a number 2 and #17. #17-pork in green salsa was fair to good-the flavor was a littlelacking but I liked the jalapenos from the counter. My youngest teenage son devoured his #2 but my wife and oldest teenage son(who eats like 3 men) only ate a couple bites of their burrito. The veggies inside were not fresh and tasted stewed per their report. There was not much meat inside either. Everything just seemed soggier than it ought to be. The salsa choices were good in flavor but were mostly water. Probably won't bring the family back here. I might come back to try the carne asada. I just didn't think it was all that based on previous reviews.

I haven't had real Mexican food since I moved from Southern California! This is not Tex mex! Amazing menudo, carne asada fries portions were overflowing with goodness! The sopes were delicious. Everyone was friendly and service was great! We will be back!

  • Josh E.

I can't understand why all the rave reviews of this place. I've had a lot better tacos off a taco truck in Denver. The salsa was like water . Maybe everyone reviewing this place was drunk.... I had the adobada tacos and they were the worst ones I've had from anywhere . I expected much better.

This place never stops amazing me! I love this place every time I got I get the same thing and it's always perfect!! Very fair prices never spend over 10 dollars for myself and the portions are CRAZY huge! I come from Southern California and this place is like I never left. The food is 100% authentic!

Great food, good prices, decent serving sizes... I'd up it to 5 stars if they add sopapillas... Has a drive thru which I like because we have take out Netflix family nights and Mexican food is always a favorite.

It's the best mexican food I have had yet since i moved to Colorado springs from San Antonio. I moved here and was in shock how expensive some of these imitation mexican food places charge for a simple plate. but this place is wonderful! They have a drive thru too, awesome. The food is good and the salsa is fresh. The price is cheap and the service is quick! My new mexican food fix

Best carne asada fries in COS! The rest of the menu is good as well. Definitely worth it.

  • Gary L.

Stopped by on my way to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very efficient and menu had quite a large selection. I ordered the chicken enchilada plate. When I received my food and the plate was full. The food looked tasty and I was not disappointed. I like mine a little spicier than most, and they have plenty of chili sauces to choose from. I added a nice helping of green chili and was amazed at the nice flavor and kick too! Yes, this is one of the best Mexican food restaurants (not fast food by my standards) in Colorado Springs. Give them a try!

  • Renee W.

Awesome. I've been to Rudolfo's in Monument, I was not impressed. If your staples (rice & beans) are that bland, the main item is worse. The rice and beans at el super are awesome, the tacos were freshly fried, and the Horchata is the best! Finally, found a place I'll be returning to...

What a solid Mexican dive. So many people are weary of eating at a place that looks a little shabby from the outside. But do not fear, I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed. The carne asada is always spot on and never has fat or gristle in it so you never have to dig through your burrito ensuring that you have a solid bite every time. The fish tacos are spectacular and are just as authentic as the ones I've tried in Mexico, so don't you fret germaphobes your stomach should be just fine after devouring anything on their menu. The only mildly negative thing I could say about this place is it seems like no matter how much salsa you ask for they still give you the smallest amount possible. But if you go inside they have a salsa bar fully equipped with jalapeños, hot and mild salsa, pickled carrots etc. and the to go cups at the salsa bar are twice the size of the drive thru ones. Need Mexican food in a rush? Come here and you will be pleased.

It is my favorite place to eat in Colorado Springs hands down! Horchata is awesome. Lengua is to die for! And the breakfast burrito is epic!

I've tried several places near our home & have been disappointed. This place is a good 20mins from our home & after several other restaurants mistakes, I will always make the drive to grab some great food from here. I've only ever used the drive through service but its always been decent and my food is always good. The enchiladas are great with tasty beef, peppers and onions. Its a good ratio between meat and veggies. The beans are delish and the sauce is also very good. I love their chips and salsa too :) Don't waste your time on other places - come here because you won't be disappointed. The food is good and you'll get what you ask for & its worth the money. I've wasted money on other mexican fast food restaurants or even sit-down restaurants. This is one of my go-to's for good food at a decent price. You'll be happy that you made the drive or choice to come here then somewhere else!

I love this place. The 5 rolled tacos supreme is good/ their nachos supreme (minus the beans bc it can make the chips soggy)are great too, LOTS of carne asada- along with pretty much everything else. I always ask for extra green salsa. Best neighborhood mexican fast food.

for a fast food taco joint this place isn't half bad. i had the carnitas dinner platter and it was quite good. it could use a little more flavor but the meat was tender and the rest of the sides were tasty. portions are large for at least two people and the prices you can't beat with a stick!

I've eaten here a number of times, and my favorite dish is the chile relleno burrito. It Is terrific! Full of flavor and the melted goodness of the Anaheim chiles and cheese. Oh so much cheese! Get with the fried jalapeños and extra salsa verde. And on Saturday, you've gotta try the menudo! Onions, cilantro and a few twists of lime almost as good as Mama's!

Not Bad. As I visit more and more Mexican restaurants I find my self starting to use el super taco as the standard to compare against. Interestingly, most mexican restaurants have a hard time meeting this standard. El super taco does authentic rather than quirky. The breakfast burritos are extremely greasy and delicious and the lunch is pretty good. The steak is very good and all the tortilla's are freshly fried. Things to try: beacon breakfast burrito, carne asade fries, and 3 mini tacos. Also, anything ending in supreme. Since they moved locations, it seems like the food has only gotten better. The service is also very good and friendly.

Ditto on my previous review - this place is quantity over quality. Its ok for late night fare, probably best when you've had a few too many to drink. Its not unlike any of the millions of mexican food stands on SoCal that serves up large burritos and huge plates, but everything sort of tastes the same.

Good, for fast food this is much better than the normal taco shop. Lots of different fillings for the tacos to choose.

as the other reviewers say the food is "bad" but man does it taste good! if you want to play it safe hit up the breakfast burritos (they're all tasty) and if you're feeling more adventurous try out the carne asada cheese fries - wow. Also, not for the faint of heart or small of stomach try the Jumbo Burrito, 7+ pounds of heart clogging bliss!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
